Cheap Good Rugged Tablet PC Fujitsu Stylistic M532

The price of $349 is quite expensive for cheap and good tablet PC range, however when it comes with rugged body conforming to MIL-STD-810G, it becomes a fair price. Also keep in mind that this is a 10-inch tablet.
As far as the device itself goes, it’s a rugged tablet. The tablet is tough and comes with great build quality, and the body is built up to MIL-STD-810G standards, which means it will have no problems taking some drops and bangs in your active lifestyle. At least you don’t have to treat it like an infant. Apart from that, it comes with few value added features such as one-year subscription to Absolute Computrace which will help you track down your Stylistic M532 in case you lose it or it gets stolen. Apart from that, there’s a host of business apps that is loaded onto the device. The highlight, however, is that despite being a rugged device, it weighs only 1.23 pounds, which is just over half a kilogram, and that’s pretty light for a 10 inch tablet device.

It is equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 2 quad core processor, clocked at 1.4GHz, upto 16GB memory, 10-inch TFT screen and 8 MP camera. Powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. So, it is quite a good deal.

Videocon VT-10

Google did something right by releasing its Google Nexus 7. We are now seeing 10-inch tablet for a very cheap price. India now have the Videocon VT-10, a 10-inch tablet priced at $205, just a little expensive than the Google Nexus 7.

A 10.1-inch 1280×800 touchscreen, a Rockchip RK3066 dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage, microSD support, two 2 MP cameras (front and back), and a 6,800 mAh battery. The tablet’s dimensions are 257.3x176x10.3 mm, it weighs 650 grams, and it ships running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Mobile data connectivity can be added via supported 3G dongles.
This is a great deal considering the price, and may signify things to come in the near future – $199 10-inch ‘budget’ Android tablets with specs that match or surpass yesteryear’s flagships. Android will win the tablet war when the cheap devices become good enough in terms of performance for most people, and the Videocon VT10 has the specs for that. It could be the first of many similarly specced and similarly priced offerings in this space.

Gemini JoyTab 9.7

Most cheap tablet PC are in the 7-inch range. Now there is a cheap good tablet PC in the 10-inch range. Gemini Devices JoyTab 9.7 is available for £177. It runs great for games and movies, however no GPS is included with the device.
We loaded a handful of demanding games onto the tablet, including the demanding Shadowgun and Asphalt 7, and found each one played smoothly, hardly dropping a frame. The JoyTAB! coped effortlessly with Full HD video playback, delivering local files and streaming online movies smoothly, and a Mini HDMI output means the tablet can output video to an HD TV, too.
