If you are looking to buy a Nexus 7 tablet, the hottest cheap good tablet PC right now, Google is making it easier. A new webpage from Google can help you locate a retailer near you. Head over to
http://www.google.com/nexus/7/retailers/.
From this point, it is simply a matter of letting the page locate you, or typing in the address where you happen to be.
You can limit the results by distance, with options for 5, 10, 20 and 50 miles. Basically, from what we are seeing — we have a nice list of T-Mobile stores when it comes to the Nexus 4. The Nexus 7 on the other hand shows a few more retailers including Staples, Walmart and GameStop. We hope to see some additional retailers come to the Nexus 4 locator page as well.
Otherwise, the results come back with the store name, the distance, address and phone number. Of course, given we are talking about a Google provided tool this other bit shouldn’t come as a surprise, but you can also get directions to the store.
